Days ago,my Russian friend asked me why circular vibrating screen could not start up,however,the amplitude was quite small even if it start up,and the screening efficiency is quite bad,here I summarize the reasons as follows:
1.The circular vibrating screen motor breaks down,please replace the motor;
2.The electrical equipment control circuit fails,please maintain and replace the electrical equipment;
3.The voltage is low,you can alter the power supply;
4.There are many accumulation materials on the surface,please clean up the material;
5.The screen itself has fault,please check and maintain the vibrating screen;
6.The lubricating oil is over thick or caking,please clean the screen and add new lubricating oil;
7.You can also add balance weight to increase the amplitude.
Besides,please also note that the adjustment of vibration source on vibrating screen(exciter or vibrating motor) must be same,or it will cause equipment damage.

3.Thickness test of paint coating.

After equipment runs normally,adhere the amplitude measuring scale to the side wall of screen box.There are many different circles with different diameter,and the movement locus will become to ellipse due to vibration,however, circles’ movement locus is still a circle,it shows that this circle’s diameter is very approached to the equipment amplitude,therefore,the circle diameter is vibrating amplitude.
All tests above have their own standard data,when the testing data has big difference with standard data,we will debug repeatedly to ensure equipment with a optimum working condition.

Trommel screen has two kinds of structures of shaft and shaftless. Both of them can be used for some common bulk materials, while according to the application working condition, the appropriate one must be selected for some materials with special properties.

The drum is fixed aslope on the main frame. Motor, reducer and drum are connected by a coupling, and the driving drum rotates around an axis. Owing to the inclination and rotation of drum, the materials on the screen surface can move forward and roll. The materials will be divided into two parts: the qualified one will be discharged from the bottom hopper, and the unqualified one will be discharged from the end outlet. The rotation of the material in the drum makes the blocked material bounce out of the aperture, preventing the mesh blocking.

Trommel screen with shaft is generally used for screening granular material with large density, such as: sand, coal, limestone, fertilizer, compost and mineral, etc.

Shatless trommel screen


The shaftless trommel screen is installed horizontally. Generally, the rotate speed of the drum of motor wheel gear or motor chain is very slow, and the length of the drum can be designed longer to increase the screening efficiency. There is a delivery plate inside the drum, which can make the material move forward. The material which is larger than mesh size will be discharged at the end outlet, and the material which is smaller than mesh size will be discharged at the bottom discharge hopper. If the material is household garbage, a cutting tool is also can be added to rive some plastics bags, etc.

Shaftless trommel screen is usually used for screening material with small density, such as: waste, wooden chips, activated carbon, fertilizer, construction material, chemical material, etc.

The test principle is through infrared sensor scanning a fixed point on the shaft to confirm the rotary speed.Firstly,pasting the measured speed tags on rotor surface.then running the equipment,after the normal running,let the tachometer probe aims at one point on the tag movement locus,record the data,and it requires multiple measurements to take average.

A good equipment should work without abnormal sound,after the equipment running normally,place the noise meter probe near the running parts of vibrating screen,record the data, it requires multiple measurements to take average.

Stainless steel vibration sieve will become matt if they are used for a long time, when screening materials with chemical reactions (such as corrosion) ,there would be a passivation film on the surface, it will exist steadily as a shape of the oxide in the nature. In other words, though stainless steel working conditions and oxidation are not the same, they will be oxidized in the end, this phenomenon is often called corrosion. The metal which is exposed in the corrosive environment, it will produce electro-chemical or chemical reaction on the surface of metal, even corrode. 1.If motor is overheat when start up,please stop and inspect it, in order not to affect normal operation of the reducer.

2.Reducer must be operated as per the operating manual and the rotating direction must rotate according to the arrow direction as shown.

3.If powder leakage phenomenon occurs on the shaft, please tighten the packing gland bolts at both ends.

4.During operation , check bearing heating circumstance, general bearing temperature rising shall not be over 60 ℃.

5.During operation, if abnormal vibration occurs, please stop the machine and eliminate the abnormal phenomenon.

6.If there is bolt looseness in the process of operation, please tighten the bolt.

1. How to select the most suitable screen cloth?
a. Because it is complicated for screen cloth installation of linear vibrating screen, we should select the screen cloth with thicker wire diameter.
b. While cutting screen cloth, we should keep the width of screen cloth consistent with the mesh frame, length should be 50-70mm longer than mesh frame.
2. How to install the screen cloth of linear vibrating screen?
a. Since the tensity of screen cloth will affect the screen efficiency directly, we should keep the screen cloth tension during installing the screen cloth.
b. Please confirm whether needs to add the bouncing balls according to mesh size and difficulty level of the screened material.
c. We should add suitable supported mesh size under the screen cloth if the mesh of the screen cloth is high or bulk density of the material is big.
d. While install the pressing plate, we should keep the flatness of the plate and line with strong scalability sponge sealing to lock it uniformly.
e. After completing installation, we should test the condition of feeding material and screening with few materials. If materials run forward uniformly, classify accurately without mixing phenomenon,linear vibrating screen can be used well. If not, we should adjust the linear vibrating screen mesh and test again.

Mentioned Points on Vibrating Feeder

1. In order to ensure feed materials uniformly and prevent materials flow automatically, the vibrating feeder should be installed horizontally. If feeding ordinary materials, users can install the feeder declined 10 degree; declined 15 degree is alright if dealt with viscous material or larger water content materials.

2. There should be 20mm moving clearance after installing vibrating feeder. Suspension device should adopt flexible connections.

3. Please tighten all bolts before commissioning with non-load, especially the vibration motor bolt. It’s better to tighten the bolts again after 3-5 hours of continuous operation.

4. When making a commissioning, two vibration motors must rotate reversely. Inspect the stability of current and noise, please stop it if there is abnormal situation.

5. Please add lubricating grease to motor bearings every 2 months. During hot season, every month should be added.

Do you really know vibrating screen damper? It is used to limit circular vibrating screen to move lateral. You might confuse that does vibrating screen have lateral move? Theoretically it doesn’t have, but it is proved that there exists this kind of situation, the reasons are as follows:

1.Uneven distribution screening materials: If the material distributes unevenly, it will result screen box in a uneven loading condition, so there will be shock deviation in the horizontal direction.

2.Installation deviation. Circular vibrating screen needs to be installed horizontally. But during the installation process, it will inevitably be installation errors.

3.Stress error of vibration spring. We all know that measuring standard of vibration spring is just a reference value. So it is inevitable that vibration springs have stress error.


Screen box appears lateral deviation shock will generate great damage, thus if not promptly treated, it can affect the circular vibrating screen normal working.

As it is shown, the damper consists of adjustment bolts, flanges, spring base, springs, rubber base and rubber. New Dust Removal Method of Vibrating Screen

The majority of dust removal method in our country is bag filter technology. Its advantage is high working efficiency, but it has large investment. To solve this kind of problem, we have developed a new dust removal method of vibrating screen. It has advantages of high efficiency, lower investment cost, longer service life, etc. 

 

The new dust removal method includes two times dust extraction. First time to remove dust is that based the equipment on vibrating screen, then the collected dust will directly come within the vibrating screen. The secondary is to put the dust removal equipment beside the vibrating screen and remove dust separately. 

Primary dust removal: the supported type vibrating screen should be sealed, and layout one dust filter on the vibrating screen. Set efficient dust filter bag in the stream of dust filter to filter the dusted air, then dust will come within vibrating screen.

Notes Before Commissioning of Linear vibrating screen

1.In general, linear vibration screen is three-phase AC. Ensure power connection properly and there shouldn’t be conducting material. And users should use a professional electrical outlet of three-phase electric power. 

2. Engine base must be fixed firmly by bolts to ensure a same height both the front and rear support base. Keep inlet and outlet in the same level, otherwise it cannot reach ideal screening efficiency. 

3. Please inspect the flatness of sieve. Make sure that screen mesh can be installed properly on the engine base and keep the same horizontal. 

4. Please check whether all parts of linear vibrating screen are firm or not, all bolts must be tightened. 

5. Make sure that there is a 30-50mm gap between linear vibrating screen and surrounding fixtures and check clamps screws is tightened. 

6. Before turning on the linear vibrating screen, take transport support off firstly, and add support until vibration machine is running smoothly. 

7. Please pay much attention to the machine and observe material trajectory after having turned machine on. Based on the trajectory, please adjust screening status.
